STUFFED MUSHROOMS

24 large mushrooms
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/2 pound ground pork or turkey
3 tablespoons soya sauce
1 glove of garlic
1 egg sightly beaten
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/8 teaspoon red pepper
Remove stems from mushrooms and finely chop enough stems to equal 1 cup.
Cook pork with chopped stems and garlic in medium skillet. Stir in bread crumbs, onions,
2 tablespoons soya sauce, egg white and red pepper. Mix well. Brush mushrooms lightly on all sides with remaining soya sauce. Spoon 2 teaspoons of stuffing into each mushroom cap. Place on rack of foil lined broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 5 to 6 minutes until hot and golden brown.
